Instead of that, they would have a man who is a hospital i.e.the author himself.

Answer: The doctor comes to know the real problem of the author. He advices himnot to read books he doesn?t understand. It signifies that we should not study the materialabout which we have no or very little understanding because it will harm us instead of benefiting.
